Each day I wait in anticipation for my students to walk through the door.
What better way to spend time than in sharing music together with another person?
Notes on the page come alive as the musician brings their experiences and interests to their understanding of the piece they are performing.
Is it a lullaby?
A dramatic epic?
A soothing, contemplative piece?
Or a way to express frustration and release emotions?
Our inner self is able to find expression through the music we play.
A piece is not truly learned until we are able to convey the emotions the music creates in us as musicians.
Look for ways today to allow God to speak to you through music and to share your joy with others!
